We had a few moments of possibly having to cancel when one person in the party got sick. It felt good having the AXA Assistance USA Silver coverage, but he improved so we didn't need to use it...thankfully.

Nationwide Mutual Insurance Essential
I compared the price and features offered with this plan with several other companies. Nationwide mutual had the best coverage for the price offered. I read a lot of positive reviews by others about Nationwide and the company sounded like a good choice for my needs. Fortunately, I didn't need to file a claim but I'm glad I purchased it for the peace of mind.

    Thank you for your feedback on the policy. Nationwide travel insurance plans do not offer a rental car collision damage waiver when traveling to Ireland. The reason for this may stem from restrictions imposed by rental car companies in Ireland. Some countries restrict third party and/or foreign Collision Damage Waiver. Some rental car companies restrict third party and/or foreign Collision Damage Waiver. In general, travelers should always check with the rental car company to see if they accept third party auto insurance.
