Thank you for your review. The policy premiums are typically based on the age of the travelers, the length of the trip and the cost of the trip. Not all plans offer a pre-existing condition waiver and most policies that do offer this do not charge extra to have the waiver, but they do have certain requirements you must meet. Good to have this back-up insurance plan to help if we had had to evacuate or needed extra health support while we were away in Peru and Panama. Staff when I signed up were very easy to deal with. Turned out we did not need it, but was still very good to have it available in case of an emergency.

We are very satisfied with the way our claim was handled. My only complaint is that it was extremely slow. If a new document was requested, it would take 15 business days before action took place. It would be wonderful if you could check the status of your claim online as opposed to making phone calls. Our settlement was extremely fair. Hopefully we'll never have to file another claim!!!

Thankfully, I didn't have to make any claims. I mostly look for medi-evac transportation back home and emergency medical coverage, which was covered on the plan I got.
The second reason I get travel insurance is to cover travel expenses in case of unexpected issues/problems. This plan also covered it. A fair review would be based on how your company would cover any claims .
Without placing any claims, the plan seems good and fairly priced.
