Since I did not need to file a claim for a loss I cannot comment on any claim process. I am thankful this was the case and trust that should I have needed to file a claim I would have had financial recourse for any loss. I feel better when traveling to have some type of travel insurance in force. I have purchased coverage from AIG previously and feel they are a reputable company.

I submitted the claim in September, 2017 and the final payment was just received. The claims department answers to my questions were vague, they did not return phone calls promptly or ever. At the end, they claimed that never received the copies of our original tickets. I did submit them with my original claim. If they did not receive something, they should have gotten in touch with me instead of sending me an e-mail confirmation of documents received. I will never deal with this company again.

We had a 36 hr delay, needed to get a hotel, meals, transportation, and purchase new tickets in order to meet our cruise. It was a lot of paper work and I kept careful track of every receipt. Travelex took care of the complete claim. So glad I had the insurance!

Fortunately, all went well on my trip, so I can not comment on any experience with claims.
I am well into the senior citizen category and was primarily interested in medical and medical evacuation coverage. I thought the premium charged for 3 weeks of coverage was surprisingly inexpensive. I will use this company again if I ever go overseas.

Very hard to rate the insurance plan as we didn't make a claim. We don't know how good it is as we didn't need to use it. I suppose that's a GOOD THING. There was peace of mind knowing we had coverage.

We hope that we purchased a good plan. We did not want to risk our trip so we bought this insurance.
Luckily we did not have to use the insurance we got to Hungary safe and home. Our flights were on time
and we did not lose any of our belongings. After we purchased our insurance from you, we went on line
and checked your reputations, we found some negative remarks about your insurance. We hope that
it was not correct. We don't know much about your company therefore we don't know if we should
recommend you to anybody. Please tell us about your company and that the negative remarks
were incorrect. So we should consider to buy another insurance from you.
