Reasonable plan for health coverage, about 1/3 the price compared to the tour company. Good for peace of mind.

HCC Medical Insurance Services Atlas International
HCC insurance did not allow you to send any documents or claims by email and you have to mail by courier. If you live outside of the United States you'll incur further costs.

In addition, claims can be submitted electronically via the Client Zone, HCCMIS’s online account management portal for customers.     This is not what I was told at the phone by your Customer representative. The only solution I was given was the ordinay mailing service. As a result I sent the docs by DHL courier which has delivered after 20 days, and hopefully HCC will accept now my claim. If I've known it before I'd better have used the online services.

InsureandGo Global Platinum
I did not need to use the plan, though I did fall in the airport in Sao Paulo. The medical personnel at the airport cared for my multiple scrapes and bruises without charging me, but had my injuries been more serious, I was glad to know that I would be covered. I'll use your plans again when I travel.

The only downside to a plan like this is the fairly restrictive refund policy if you decide not to keep the coverage.

The trip included a
CSA Travel Protection Custom Luxe
The cruise to Brazil was cancelled due to a fire on the ship prior to our departure. We did not loose any money from the cruise company and CSA refunded our premium after we filed for an exemption. Thank you CSA.
