CSA Travel Protection
We cruise every January and buy trip insurance for 2 reasons: we live in Colorado and worry about weather delay, and the second reason is because we care for my 81 year old mother. We want to protect our investment. I never imagined that I would have to file a claim for myself. After our cruise, we flew from Miami to Dallas, where we were supposed to change planes. About 30 minutes into our 3 hour flight to Dallas, I started getting sick. By the time we landed in Dallas I was so sick. We had to be re-booked to a flight the next day. We got a hotel and thought if I rested at the hotel, I would be better. Within 2 hours, I realized I needed medical attention. After several hours in the ER, receiving IV fluids and medications, I returned to the hotel worried about how we were going to pay for the hospital bill. In the middle if the night, I remembered that we had the insurance with medical coverage. As soon as we got home I filed the claim. The claims process was very efficient. I did have to submit hospital and other bills, and it took a couple extra days, but it was worth the wait. Our claim was paid 100% of what we requested, including the entire hospital bill. We will always get our insurance through CSA. Thank you.
