I haven't reviewed these plans in the past, but this was the first time we ever purchased and had to use the plan. We had flights at both the start and end of our trip cancelled, leading to delays and loss of hotel/extended hotel stays. TripMate, the claims administrator for M.H. Ross, was great about paying our claim. We received the money less than a month after submitting the claim. A couple of caveats - they are not very good at communicating the claims status, and you have to make sure you have documented proof of everything - which is no surprise. My advice is if you get in a situation where you need a claim, copy every document, especially for flight cancellation. They wanted both our old and new boarding passes, which normally you give at the gate, but we made copies of them beforehand. Overall, the experience was an A+. They never questioned any of our claims,and payed us very promptly. What more could you want?
