I would definitely recommend Travelex to family and friends and I would use this plan again. They were helpful and prompt when we first inquired about the possibility of making a claim due to a family emergency. When it became necessary for us to cancel our trip we had the forms and the information we needed to file a claim. Once we submitted the necessary documentation they responded quickly and paid our claim. We were sorry to have to cancel our trip but very happy that we had purchased the Travelex Travel Select plan.

AIG Travel Travel Guard MedEvac Plan

It's hard to say how satisfied i was because we didn't have to use, which made me really happy, but the survey makes you make a selection. It was good to know we had the protection. I had been offered another plan with only 1/6 the coverage for thirty dollars more, so that made me happy.

Generali Global Assistance Preferred
At age 66, we took a trip this summer to Montreal, Quebec, Maine, Massachusetts, and then on to Illinois and Wisconsin. In the past, we never would have considered getting trip insurance for a trip like this, only for more expensive vacations overseas. But then it dawned on me that we technically needed medical coverage for the Canada part of the trip (Medicare does not cover problems outside of the US and Supplement plans only provide very limited coverage). So I explored this with Insure My Trip, and they found this fully comprehensive policy for not much more money than the basic medical policy.
