As a mother of two young kids, securing this plan for my solo trip gave me complete peace of mind that my children would be taken care of if something happened to me. I also felt relief to know that medical needs and trip delays would have been covered, I was able to simply enjoy my trip.

It's all good until it's time to file a claim. Then they want to say they don't cover illness. My son (who I had insured) got sick on our cruise ship and now ArchIns is saying they aren't the primary. Our medical doesn't cover out of the country which is the reason we purchased travel insurance. This company is a complete joke and I'll never purchase through them again.

    The plan that you purchased provides excess medical coverage, which means a claim for any illness or medical treatment must be filed with your primary medical provider first. This way, we have proof of any payment from your primary provider and are able to reimburse the remaining expenses. If your primary insurance provider does not provide coverage for this type of claim, we would still need proof of their $0 payment.

C&F Travel Insured International Worldwide Trip Protector
I have used InsureMyTrip several times. Although I have never had to process a claim, the peace of mind I have with the policy is worth the very reasonable cost. I will use again.

Fortunately, I didn't need to use it. As a senior citizen, knowing I had coverage in case of an emergency was comforting. I would definitely get this plan again when going on another cruise.
