This plan worked perfectly and paid for itself, twice. A 24-hour delay by the airline caused me to miss a night in a hotel that I had pre-paid for. On the 3rd day of my trip, I was taken to the hospital for a horrific case of food poisoning. I kept all the paperwork from both the airline and hospital, emailed it in with a simple claim form and 5 days later there was a check in my mailbox! Super easy!
