Even though I did not file a claim, I needed to contact Travel Guard, as a piece of my checked luggage was not delivered to Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania, at 2:00am! I called the international phone number for Travel Guard and Sarah answered on the second ring! I told here my situation and I wanted to confirm exactly how I needed to proceed in obtaining receipts for incidentals and the procedure for filling a claim. She walked me through the steps and I was set to go. (Fortunately for all, the bag was located in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and was delivered to me the next day at my ultimate destination 800kms into the interior of Tanzania.) It was great to know that Travel Guard customer service is available around the world at any time.
