Note to insureds; Always read the fine print. The "Cancel for any Reason" clause does not allow a cancellation benefit within 2 days of trip departure. For the benefit to be effective you must cancel your trip at least 2 days prior to your scheduled departure.
This plan offered the medical evacuation coverage we were most interested in. We were very pleased with the plan and the peace of mind it provided. This is the second time we have purchased the particular travel insurance plan.

Each policy containing the Cancel for any Reason benefit has a set of guidelines that must be followed in order for this coverage to be in place. The plan did what we expected. It's insurance. It's there when you need it. We would would recommend it to those looking for better coverage than the "trip insurance" offered by the airlines when tickets are purchased. We will purchase the AXA Assistance USA Gold plan again.
