Came down with covid and also a secondary infection.
I call a representative who initially called back but I was being examined by a doc and asked to be called back.I was never called back even after reaching out a view times..I have now incurred doctor bills and lodging I lost and had to pay out of pocket ..This company failed to provide me with coverage I paid for..

It gave me peace of mind knowing I have medical coverage in an event of a major medical event. I had a minor medical issue ( cough and sore throat that lingered) that an over the counter meds and a visit to a family physician were adequate. I brought with me a home covid test so I was prepared. My test was negative.

It was a little bit expensive for our ages but it was a good travel plan and worth it. The country we traveled required a travel insurance and we had no problem presenting our insurance. We felt safe that we were insured to cover any eventualities that could ruin our vacation.

I've used the service several times...
In the plan I had delay on flight to help cover unforeseen cost...
The flight was delayed in Hong Kong for roughly 26 hours.
Called to verify my coverage.
They told me it was not covered because it's not a labor despite.
The protests in Hong Kong shut down the airport several days.
Do to this situation. I will not be using this company or its services ever again and will do everything in my power to make sure anybody I know and come in contact with doesn't either... Thank you for nothing but taken my money.

In the future, please call us prior to purchase so we can review the plan benefits with you and answer any questions you may have about coverage. In fact, you may call us any time at 800-487-4722 to discuss travel insurance products offered by InsureMyTrip. We are open 7 days a week, and all of our representatives are licensed insurance agents. We have also forwarded your comments to the provider and received the following response:

Unfortunately the Trip Interruption benefit does not cover interruption due to civil disorder. However if reasonable expenses were incurred as a result of a trip delay there is potential Trip Delay benefits coverage and we recommend you submit a claim for consideration at csaclaims.com. Premiums for comprehensive policies are based largely on the length of the trip, the ages of the travelers, and the cost of the trip. Although our providers do not offer discounts for frequent customers, most companies have a wide range of rates by offering multiple plans with different levels of coverage. You chose the Generali Global Assistance Standard plan which was their most competitively priced plan. However, Generali also offers a Preferred and Premium plan at higher premiums.
