Once the threshold of age 70 was realized, some competing travel insurance plans were extremely expensive for the coverage to Antarctica. General global policy provided necessary coverage at a much more reasonable cost.

The original trip, for which the insurance was purchased, was canceled by the travel company before the start of the program. The insurance company made it extremely difficult to transfer the insurance to the re-scheduled trip.

I shopped around before choosing this trip insurance policy and it gave me the best value for the price! I’m super happy with the customer service provided answering un many questions and for the overall experience! I highly recommend!

Glad I didnt have to use the insurance. I went with my sister who lives in another state. It would have been more affordable to have both of us on the same plan. Please consider linking travel partners in the future.
