We never had a need to use the plan. However, we do think that our circumstances in obtaining the plan maybe of interest to you.
We did not get the plan because of our personal travel needs. Instead, we got it out of concern that our two offspring, which have special needs might require us to cancel or interrupt our trip. Thus, we think that because there a certainly other travelers that have similar issues as us you might consider increasing or modifying the plan(s) to increase awareness to other parents concerning this issue. By doing so it may help both you and others.

Thank you for your feedback on the policy. You raise a very interesting point as to making people more aware of preeminent scenarios that some companies cover, that other companies may not. We advise that customers call when they have a particular concern they would like coverage for. This plan gives such peace of mind when taking a trip abroad. Although we didn't have any medical concerns this trip, I did have an asthmatic episode last year on board the cruise which necessitated a trip to the medical team on the ship. I wouldn't cruise without a CSA Travel plan.

Thank you for providing feedback on your policy. Based on your trip information, this policy appeared to be the most cost effective. For comprehensive policies, premiums are calculated primarily on trip cost, length of travel, and ages of the travelers.May 24,2014

Thank you for your feedback on the policy. Comprehensive polices can be amended prior to your departure date. After the departure date, no changes can be made to the policy. This rule is typical for most travel insurance companies comprehensive plans. For future reference, most travel medical polices can be purchased during your trip.May 19,2014

Purchasing this plan was quite easy and completed at the last minute. My friend had already purchased a policy, so I didn't go through evaluating all the options. We were both pleased with the plan. Even though we are not elderly, we are old enough to believe that having trip insurance in the event something unexpected occurred would be wise.

Fortunately I have not had to ever use any of my CSA coverage. I hope that it is as good as it is advertised for. I regularly recommend it to my fellow travelers and they often purchase it.
