This plan covered many events one might experience on a trip or vacation. In many cases, CSA's benefit limits were higher than competitor's coverages, and for a lower premium. I did not have to submit a claim, but one of the members of our cruise group slipped off a tour bus and broke her ankle. Since she is a seasoned traveler, I knew she had trip insurance. I am glad that she recommended that the rest of our group do the same. It is great peace of mind, since travel can be quite expensive, and like my friend, one never knows what can happen!

A bit pricey but the CSA Travel Protection Custom Luxe gave us peace of mind. Too many cruises have had to return to port or alter their course to offload an ailing passenger, and winter travel is always dicey. We were glad that we did not have to file a claim.

Good plan for a cruise considering you always need to have the medevac insurance to fly you to the nearest port in case of a medical emergency. If you do not have this type of insurance it could drain you financially for years.

We cruise every January and buy trip insurance for 2 reasons: we live in Colorado and worry about weather delay, and the second reason is because we care for my 81 year old mother. We want to protect our investment. I never imagined that I would have to file a claim for myself. After our cruise, we flew from Miami to Dallas, where we were supposed to change planes. About 30 minutes into our 3 hour flight to Dallas, I started getting sick. By the time we landed in Dallas I was so sick. We had to be re-booked to a flight the next day. We got a hotel and thought if I rested at the hotel, I would be better. Within 2 hours, I realized I needed medical attention. After several hours in the ER, receiving IV fluids and medications, I returned to the hotel worried about how we were going to pay for the hospital bill. In the middle if the night, I remembered that we had the insurance with medical coverage. As soon as we got home I filed the claim. The claims process was very efficient. I did have to submit hospital and other bills, and it took a couple extra days, but it was worth the wait. Our claim was paid 100% of what we requested, including the entire hospital bill. We will always get our insurance through CSA. Thank you.
