For a claim of $60, I received a comprehensive memorandum as to why it couldn't be paid. I'm sure they spent more than $60. A quick phone call might have been wiser. I eventually responded to them with a detailed response, and eventually I did get a check from them. In the end we were satisfied with the outcome, but the amount of time it took to get a small amount of money, when the facts were not in dispute, was curious. I may use the company again, or, hmm, not sure.

In the future, please contact InsureMyTrip and request a Customer Advocate if you experience an issue after filing a claim. Did not have to use it, but after a family relative got sick and had to use the hospitals in the country, it gave me peace of mind that me and my wife were covered.

Luckily didn't have to use it, but when they shut the airspace down around DC, we immediately called CSA from the plane to see what our options were. Very helpful, sent claim forms out so they would be there when we arrived home. Thankfully, we didn't have to use them. Will use CSA in the future.
