I had never gotten trip insurance before. But our trip to Spain required so many purchases of tickets and hotels ahead of time that I was worried about the thought of something happening. My wife and I experienced a major disruption to our trip when the air carrier, Iberia, cancelled our outbound flight and was unable to re-book us for 3 days. We filed a claim with Generali and they handled the claim promptly and fairly.

I can't verify how good the service was if I had to use it but under the circumstances I was traveling with peace of mind that they were there and I saw their offices while I was in Europe if I actually needed them! I would use their services again!
