The Voyager Choice is a single-trip Medical plan which offers emergency medical coverage while you are traveling abroad. This plan does require you to have primary health insurance in place, but there is no exclusion for pre-existing conditions. With this plan, you have the ability to select the medical limit and also the deductible amount that you are most comfortable with.

This plan offered us exactly the coverage we were looking for. We called and spoke with a representative who was very helpful. He answered our questions regarding the payment procedure for those whose primary insurance is Medicare. He never tried to up-sell us. We would certainly purchase insurance from InsureMyTrip the next time we travel.

Thankfully,we did not have to use the plan at all so I'm not really sure how it would work if we needed to use it. The plan seemed to cover the needs we had should anything go wrong.
