Thank you very much for your comments. We would like to further explain to your fellow travelers that Primary coverage will pay FIRST, before any other collectible insurance. Secondary coverage will pay you after any other Primary collectible insurance has paid the claim and the Primary policy's limits have been exhausted.Sep 08,2016

Did not need to file a claim so cannot rate that part of Global Alert. Prices were competitive. Medical and evacuation parts of the policy were primary coverage which is important to me. If one does not know the difference between primary and secondary coverage, they should put forth the effort to learn what it means.

I didn't have to invoke any aspect of the coverage on this particular trip, but the "cancel for any reason" coverage really helped me relax. Note that this option for coverage is only available if you purchase your insurance coverage within two weeks of your initial deposit/payment.
