We had some medical issues in SE Asia - pneumonia in January, dengue fever - you know, that kind of thing. Global accepted the claims online, which was much easier than my regular medical insurance company. Once I received the EOB (explanation of benefits) from my medical insurance, then Global paid the remainder (minus the deductible) quite quickly. Thank you!!!!

Our trip did not result in an insurance claim, nor did the underwriter offer an extension when our policy approaching expiration.
