The TravCan Premier plan is the higher-end comprehensive trip cost protection plan from InsureAssist as it offers greater coverage limits and more options than the TravCan plan. If you are concerned about any pre-existing medical conditions that might affect your travel, this plan will waive the pre-existing conditions exclusion if purchased within 21 days of the initial trip payment and if the full cost of the trip is insured.

I would recommend to everyone under 70. I got this insurance and told everyone about the coverage and cost for me and my wife 65 and 61. They are 74 and their cost was almost double mine.. For that age group it could have been the norm.

This plan is with a reputable company, and has pretty comprehensive coverage for the cost. Thankfully we did not have to file a claim so I cannot comment on the quality or timeliness of the response of the claims department.

It is a great website to compare your insurance options for travel. As we may travel more it's smart to be insured in some fashion or other and this site has many options.

I did shop around for insurance and this plan offered me all the coverage I was looking for at a very reasonable cost and from an insurer that I recognized. Additionally, InsureMyTrip customer service representatives are wonderful, knowledgeable, and courteous (something sorely missing in many companies today).

My friend who was scheduled to go on my trip with me was unable to go. Fortunately when we booked the trip I insisted she also get InsureAssist coverage.. She did and had to file a claim which I am glad to learn was covered by you without a lot of hassle. It made me feel great

Rep was helpful when I purchased the plan & explained what was covered. I appreciated the e-mail reminding me to print the plan prior to my trip departure & the notation that if I did not have my info available to call for assistance, which I did. Again the rep that assisted was pleasant and made the process easy.

My vacation went according to plan so I did not need to make a claim under the insurance I purchased. However, the insurance provided peace of mind that I had medical coverage while outside the United States in addition to the coverage for trip delays and cancellation.
