The TravCan Premier plan is the higher-end comprehensive trip cost protection plan from InsureAssist as it offers greater coverage limits and more options than the TravCan plan. If you are concerned about any pre-existing medical conditions that might affect your travel, this plan will waive the pre-existing conditions exclusion if purchased within 21 days of the initial trip payment and if the full cost of the trip is insured.

It was nice to know that we had coverage when we were on the ship. It made our trip feel a little bit safer knowing we had the coverage. We will using you again next June when we go to Rome.

I purchased trip insurance from InsureMyTrip for a recent trip. While traveling I needed medical attention. I called InsureAssist. and spoke with a very friendly representative. She emailed me a claim form immediately and said I would hear from them in about 10 to 12 days. On the 7th day I received a check for the full amount of my claim. Based on this experience, I would highly recommend them.

The only snag for me was that I was never emailed my confirm and had to call to get it. Otherwise no complaints

Thank you for your review. Unfortunately, although rare, email confirmations are sometimes blocked by the email provider as they are mistaken for spam. It is always prudent, as you did, to call customer service should you not receive your confirmation within 24 hours.Aug 19,2013

Because my husband and I are over 60, it was important that we have trip insurance to cover cancellation or illness while we were on vacation. It certainly provides peace of mind!

Because we did not have to actually use the insurance (and we are very glad we didn't), we are, of course, most pleased with the company. Also, it was a NEW company on InsureMyTrip; and there were no reviews of it prior to our trip so we worried about our selection . . . . . but, we knew we would not select this other, different, company because they did NOT deliver when we had a claim.
