The TripMed plan from InsureAssist offers medical coverage for single trips that are taken outside of your home country. With this plan, you can choose the Medical limit and also the deductible amount that you are most comfortable with and that best fits your budget. There is an additional option for hazardous activities coverage which provides coverage for activities such as sky diving, bungee cord jumping and scuba diving.

Thankfully, we didn't have to use the policy but it fit our needs perfectly. InsureMyTrip will be the second stop right after booking the trip.
