With this plan, you can choose the Medical limit and also the deductible amount that you are most comfortable with and that best fits your budget. There is an additional option for hazardous activities coverage which provides coverage for activities such as sky diving, bungee cord jumping and scuba diving.

Thankfully I didn't need to file a claim. But it gave me piece of mind knowing that my husband (who is on Medicare) would have health coverage in the event that something happened while on our vacation outside of the United States.

Fortunately, I did not need to use the Medical Insurance coverage when I was in Bangalore, India. It was still reassuring to know that I had coverage. I can't speak to the effectiveness of the coverage but I felt it was a needed safeguard whether I used it or not. The enrollment process was easy and the cost was reasonable.
