I have purchased this particular plan for several different trips. When I fill in the parameters that matter to me for travel insurance, IMG LX invariably surfaces as the best choice, and at a competitive price, too. If I ever do have to file a claim, I hope we would be well-covered and well-treated by IMG.

This was the first time we have had to file a claim. My husband got sick on a cruise and ended up with a $8,500 medical bill. We did have to pay it out of pocket, but we were reimbursed for the entire amount. Very easy process and we had the money in our account in approximately 30 days. I would definitely use this company again.

Fortunately we did not need to put in any claims. The policy was robust and gave us peace of mind knowing that if there were COVID issues we would have had coverage for the expenses.

Claim including paperwork was filed four months ago in February. Missed connection due to weather. Claim was for hotel and meals. Simple. Still has not been paid... Terrible service.

Thank you for your review. The policy premiums are typically based on the age of the travelers, the length of the trip and the cost of the trip. Not all plans offer a pre-existing condition waiver and most policies that do offer this do not charge extra to have the waiver, but they do have certain requirements you must meet. We are very satisfied with the way our claim was handled. My only complaint is that it was extremely slow. If a new document was requested, it would take 15 business days before action took place. It would be wonderful if you could check the status of your claim online as opposed to making phone calls. Our settlement was extremely fair. Hopefully we'll never have to file another claim!!!
