I bought this plan because that's what the travel experts recommend at my age. I didn't have to use it so I'm not sure how good the plan even was. But the price wasn't too bad at just over a hundred.

I had the unfortunate loss during our covered trip, and upon return, filed a claim. It took 3+ months for reimbursement of funds, including 4 phone calls requesting some sort of answers for the lengthy delays. Ultimately, the claim funds were reimburse to me, however, only after a delay. This was after I submitted all the necessary paperwork, i.e. receipts, medical records, medical release of information, etc., so the delay was not on my (the customers) end. Good coverage for my families needs, but slow to reimburse the covered loss expense.

Customer Advocates are representatives assigned to assist customers who experience issues after filing a claim. Originally purchased this policy for a cruise that was cancelled 11 days prior to the cruise. I was able to transfer this policy to a newly booked cruise for the same timeframe. Very satisfied with the customer service.
