We have used the IMG insurance plan several times. We have never had a claim, but with many uncontrollable variables on travel, it provides peace of mind at an affordable (and very competitive) price. It is much less expensive than provider plans for cruises, with similar coverages. We have no problem recommending the IMG ITravelinsured SE plan.

Would not travel without a policy! Too
Many things can happen. On a previous trip to Grand Caman. My paraplegic nephew broke his femur in a fall from his wheelchair. Our policy sent a nurse from Miami who oversaw his medical care and arranged and accompanied his transfer back New York and then home to Phildelphia for his care and treatment.

I filed a claim for Cancellation for Any Reason. The paperwork wasn't bad and they refunded me the advertised 75% of the cancellation penalties.

I insured my hotel costs since they had to be paid 30 days in advance and were non-refundable. Having the insurance meant I didn't have to worry that something might cause me to have to cancel trip. My air fare was not an issue since Southwest allows you to bank a ticket.
