Good plan and reasonable pricing. I was disappointed by the fact that they do not cover baggage delay to your primary residence. Our bag was delayed more than 24 hours but this wasn't eligible for claim as per the representative.

Thankfully, we did not have occasion to use the insurance. AND, it makes the trip more comfortable to know that insurance is there if needed. (There was someone on our cruise who had to be helicoptered off the ship to a hospital while we were at sea, and we thought--hope he has insurance....)

I was very relieved to purchase this plan as my travel agent did not inform me that travel insurance had to be purchased 90 days out (which is when I purchased the cruise). I did not need protection against travel cancellation, only wanted the emergency medical and was able to purchase just what I needed at a great rate. Thank you.

Glad to say our fabulous Alaskan cruise went off without a hitch. It was nice having the piece of mind that we were protected if sometime went wrong.

But since I never had a problem and needed to file a claim, I have no idea how responsive you would have been to my needs. This review is useless. The plan looked good, but who knows how the follow through would have been.

In regards to Baggage Delay coverages, it is common for travel insurance companies to state that there is coverage if your checked baggage is delayed or misdirected by a Common Carrier for at least the number of hours shown on the certificate, except for return travel to your primary residence.
