I have used InsureMyTrip at least half a dozen times. On a couple of occasions, TripAssure was the best option. The mobile app is great.

The MH Ross Advantage Bridge plan was very easy to purchase and covered everything we wanted. Obviously we were happy that we had no need to file a claim!

After filing a claim for a cancelled trip, our experience with this company was terrible. We continually had to call them to track the claim and every time they would say we needed to send more paperwork. Some receipts we sent them 4 times. We even had one of the tour operators email us to ask why they kept asking him for the same information. It took about 6 months for us to get about half of our money back. The one good thing I will say is about InsureMyTrip, who stepped in to help us at one point and were great to deal with.

    We are sorry to learn that you were dissatisfied with the claims service. We apologize on behalf of the claims administrator that your claim took an unusually long time to process, and that you were repeatedly asked to provide documentation that had already been submitted. Depending upon the complexity of the claim, and how readily available the claims documentation is, claims processing should take anywhere between 3-8 weeks.

Processing a travel insurance claim requires documentation that demonstrates the costs and circumstances surrounding the incident. TripAssure Advantage Asset Plus
I did recommend this to a friend, who purchased a policy. She made a claim when she suffered a medical emergency in Singapore, and so far is pleased with how it has been handled.
