They are very slow to respond taking over a month after they receive your claim to contact you saying they need more information. Everything they claim was required was provided. From start to end, with many phone calls expressing my displeasure, it took them over 2 months to resolve the claim. Would not recommend.

This M.H. Ross plan seemed to provide the most coverage for our trip vs. other companies' plans, which is why we purchased it. When I was comparing plans I not only talked to the reps at InsureMyTrip.com, but I also called M.H. Ross. I have to say that the rep there didn't seem to be that familiar with the elements of the plan(s) I was inquiring about and weren't that interested in being helpful, it felt. Thankfully, we did not have a claim, so I cannot comment on what it'd be like to actually use it.

I do wish that one of these days some travel insurance company would include pets getting sick or passing away as one of the covered reasons for cancelling a trip. Pets are family members, too, and if they have a crisis one might have to cancel or postpone a trip just as if a human family member had a crisis. As it stands now, the only way to get even partial coverage to protect against pet crises is to purchase the "cancel for any reason" option. I surely hope that either M.H. Ross or some other company starts including pets in the list of legitimate reasons someone might have to cancel their trip.

It was the most reasonable for the coverage we wanted. I compared it with others. Last year, I had to visit the ship's doctor and was reimbursed on that same plan. I hope I have the chance to take another cruise. I'll look at MHRoss first!! I wish a person would get credit for 2nd or 3rd time use. We changed cruise line but were able to use the original policy and your telephone representatives were very accommodating.
