Thankfully we did not have to use our insurance coverage because the trip went as planned. However, the cost of the plan was very competitive. I appreciated hearing from the company before I left with email messages about taking the important phone numbers etc in case we needed help while oversees.

While we fortunately did not need to use the insurance we purchased for our trip, it was a comfort knowing we had it if we needed it. The provisions of our policy addressed all the concerns we had with traveling abroad.

Thankfully, we didn't need to use the plan - no mishaps or accidents. But after a few trips and falls I was happy to know that if needed, we were all insured for broken legs and toes! I don't know if it covers our re-routed plane trip on return since we paid extra for a direct flight, which didn't happen. I will investigate unless you can answer this question.
