When we filed a plan for trip interruption, they did eventually pay but their communication was terrible (basically none) and it took longer than promised. The payout was less than half of what we claimed based on how they classified it so it wasn't overall a great experience. You can't say it was clearly wrong but it wasn't a very satisfying handling of the claim.

Customer Advocates are representatives assigned to assist customers who experience issues after filing a claim. I answered survey with 5 stars because thank goodness I didn't need it. If needed I felt it would take care of any needs I might have had and I feel the cost was reasonable for the coverage.

Fortunately we did not have to use the coverage for the trip but it was good to know we had it. The price seemed high but I think it was competitive, perhaps even less, than other companies’ plans.

Great experience - both with the InsureMyTrip ease of comparing options and purchase, and then with my TruTravel insurance and claims. We did need to make a claim on Trip Delay. At the time of the event the customer service line I called provided excellent information, and promptly forwarded additional follow up information and claims forms that I needed. Following my trip, the claims process and payment went smoothly. Very satisfied with the overall experience.
