We purchased coverage in case of a medical emergency that would have prevented us from traveling. The plan was easy to choose, and we received emails leading up to our travel date. Customer service during the purchase was excellent. The instructions were simple to follow, and I felt that I knew what process to take should we have to cancel. Happily we did not, but we did have the peace of mind that our plan was there just in case.

We use this policy for Hurricane protection and do not need any of the other coverage. Ideally I would like a cheap bare minimum plan that protected me from monetary loss of our rent in the event of us being prevented for occupying the house due to weather.

Ordered the insurance plan with "cancel for any reason" coverage. We had to cancel our trip to Yosemite due to smoke and questionable air quality.
I called insurance two days in advance of our trip and filed a claim. The agent emailed me a form to fill out at my convenience (no deadline). I filled out the form and emailed it back, attaching the receipt for the trip and cancellation documents. It was very simple. I asked about progress a few days later and was told it would take 1-4 weeks to process the check. I received the check (75% of my trip cost) in the mail within 2 weeks of filing the claim.
No fuss. Easy filing. Good communication. Great overall program. Would recommend and use in the future!

Appreciate your medical coverage as neither my wife nor myself are Medicare Approved as yet because of age. If the US would join the rest of the civilized world and provide universal health coverage with a travel portability feature certain situations would change. Might affect your business though.
