The plan provided adequate coverage, my trip was cancelled due to a death in the family and a traveling companion. All my costs were reimbursed as expected. The only issue was that I had to follow up three times over a two month period to have my claim processed and paid.
The issue was that the processor working my claim had left the company and the files could not be found. They did not recommend I refile but wait as having two claim numbers would delay the claim even longer.
I was understanding and satisfied with the insurance but disappointed in the wait and additional inquiries I had to make.

How out a rebate if you do not make a claim? Is there such a thing as a policy that will cover multiple trips over more than one year?

We do not currently offer annual comprehensive policies. However, we do offer annual travel medical plans. These plans provide coverage for medical emergency and emergency medical evacuation expenses.

Don't know it's good plan or not, never claim. Just have it for visa approval purpose. Lower price is always good deal.

Luckily, we did not need to use the travel insurance. It was reassuring to know that coverage was available if the need arose. I did not realize that our own health insurance was the primary and Roam Right was secondary. Also, any changes in prescriptions, i.e. dosages, is considered a pre-existing condition.

it is a great sense of protection to have insurance that protects costs of a travel experience and also personal costs, should they arise - RoamRight does that at a very affordable price. We appreciate RoamRight and never travel without the insurance.

I was unable to go on my trip and I filed a claim with Roam Right on March 15.2015. I didn't hear anything from them so I called. I was told that my claim was there and had been assigned to an adjuster and they would contact me. After almost three weeks I called and was told that my claim had been accepted and a check would be mailed. After 12 days I called again and she said that they had no way to track it so she would reissue it. I finally got my check after another 10 days. I think that the insurance is better than the service.

We purchased this plan for a spring break cruise. After we boarded the ship, our daughter had a seizure for the first time in her life. We had only been on the ship for a half hour. We were advised to disembark and seek treatment at the ER. Once cleared for travel we had already missed our ship. This plan covered our cruise, our extra night hotel at the port and our out of pocket ER co pay. Once the claim was filed we had a check in less than 30 days. Most importantly our daughter has not had any further medical issues and we are doing testing on why and if she might have another seizure. Yes, I highly endorse and recommend this plan.
