I submitted a claim with all the information requested on the application which I downloaded from their website. A few weeks later I was notified that they weren't using that form anymore and I needed to fill out a second form and submit additional information, which I emailed the next day. I got confirmation that the email was received and called to make sure they did not need any more information. I was assured that the claim would be processed. A few days later I received a letter requesting the information again. When I called, I was assured that the claim had been approved and I would get a check. It took another week, making the total time from submission of request to payment about 4 weeks. I don't know if this is typical. The repeated requests for a different form and additional information, felt like the company was hoping I would not follow through and then they wouldn't have to pay the claim.

We didn't have to use the insurance, but it gave us mighty peace in the case where we would have needed it..

My ratings pertain only to the ease of obtaining the information and the nice way all materials pre-trip were provided. Since I did not file a claim, I have no idea how good the response would have been--the most important aspect of any coverage. Still, I'm delighted not to have needed it. It gave me peace of mind to have coverage.
