Because of an emergency situation, I left 3 days earlier than my original plan. Although it was Jan. 1st 2018, an agent @ AIG walked through and made sure that my policy was right and it was free of charge.

Fortunately I did not have to make an insurance claim. I appreciated receiving a email right before my trip with all the information I would need to make a claim. I printed it out and brought it along. That was very helpful.

I really don't know how well your plan works as I did not have to utilize it for medical emergencies, thank goodness. Therefore I do not feel I am qualified to actually submit a review. I do know that I felt better knowing that I was covered if something were to happen.

I was able to travel with confidence with the assurance that I had insurance coverage for any medical issues. Our group traveled to various holy sites in Israel and there were numerous places where a person could trip and fall.

offer you a detailed definition of the waiver in the quote. Just click on View Certificate at the top of the quote or the Preexisting Period of 180 days, which was in blue print, within the quote for the complete Preexisting Condition Exclusion.
Here is the definition of Preexisting Medical Conditions on your AIG Gold plan:
"(o) PRE-EXISTING MEDICAL CONDITION EXCLUSION: The
Company will not pay for any loss or expense incurred as the result of an Injury, Sickness or other condition of an Insured, Traveling Companion, Business Partner or Family Member which, within the 180 day period immediately preceding and including the Insured’s coverage effective date: (a) first manifested itself, worsened, became acute or had symptoms which would have prompted a reasonable person to seek diagnosis, care or treatment; (b) for which care or treatment was given or recommended by a Physician; (c) required taking prescription drugs or medicines, unless the condition for which the drugs or medicines are taken remains controlled without any change in the required prescription drugs or medicines."
