The plan is very good and covered the necessary items. I just thought that 10% ($190) was a little steep to cover $2000 in expenses. Like most insurance, if you don't use it, it seems expensive, but if you do collect, then it was a good purchase. Win-lose? All depends which side you are on. Thanks.

CF Travel Insured premiums are calculated based on the age of the traveler, the cost of the trip and the length of your trip. Your premium was also the total amount for two travelers while your premium was per person.Sep 25,2018

We purchased the policy in Aug 2016 to cover a family vacation to Hilton Head with our adult children and grandchild planned for Aug 2017. We canceled the trip in January, because one of our daughters became pregnant with a due date in Aug 2017. Our only cost incurred prior to cancellation was a deposit the house we were renting.
Filing the claim was a straight forward process and the total amount of the deposit was paid.
I did have some questions and a claims rep (Brooke) was assigned to my claim. She was very helpful by explaining the required documentation and contacting the rental company.
