We were not able to take our trip because a couple of weeks before our trip my husband fell and had to have hip surgery. He has been in a wheel chair for 3 months. I contacted the travel agency and insurance company. I filled out all the paperwork and was awarded my check for the full coverage in a couple of weeks. I am so thankful that we purchased the insurance for our trip, even more that the company covered all the expenses of our trip. Thank you to Travel Insured.

You never know how "good" insurance is until you file a claim,
As I didn't have to file a claim, I can only guess...but I would have loved to have had this insurance on my previous cruise, when a misdiagnosis by the ship's doctor cost me a fortune in lost cruise fare and incurred medical expenses. I was glad to have insurance I didn't need.

The purchase process went very well, and the plan appeared to cover what we needed. However, we did not file a claim, so we do not know how that process would have worked. I have no way to evaluate that.

The airline would be on the hook to refund money for flights it cancelled. An airline cannot cancel a flight and then keep the money. The policy only provides coverage for any fees associated with re-ticketing.Nov 14,2014

Only the Trip Protection is worth the money, for a trip to UK. They allow any to use their medical free of charge.
