Fortunately, I didn't need to make use of any of the policy benefits, so I have no idea if the policy is worth its cost so it gets a 'C'. The only way I could realistically rate the policy is if sh*% happened I needed to use it - only then could I say if the policy was worth it. In this case, I tossed about $300 for a 'what if' that didn't happen. I only get travel insurance when there are enough non refundable prepaid items that the amount exceeds my willingness to self insure.

Our trip to Sanibel, FL was interrupted due to Hurricane Irma. I filed a Trip Interruption Claim on 9/29/17 and received my reimbursement on 11/6/17. I felt the claims process was easy and efficient, and their staff were very helpful. I even received a call telling me my reimbursement was on the way.
