Due to a medical issue, I had to cancel my trip along with my husband. CF Travel Insured has a very detailed refund process. We went step by step and filed the refund request electronically. We had a refund check for the appropriate amount of money within 2 1/2 weeks. No questions were asked or additional information requested. Again, the insured must diligently follow the detailed process.

There are very strict guidelines to add flights to the Travel Insurance. We called to add flights a few days after the window and was refused. This seems unreasonable since we would have to pay for the incremental insurance by documenting flight costs.

We are very satisfied with any of the plans we buy from InsureMyTrip. We’ve been using it for at least the last 10 years. We have had to use it in the past and the process of receiving your money back is very quick and easy. The plan is never to have to use it but that is why they call it insurance.

I bought coverage for 3 families so I didn’t have to worry about my Grandchildren on our Family Cruise. Our policies covered everything I wanted included; gave me peace of mind at a very reasonable price. I’m a Nurse and very aware of the high cost of healthcare. I have 4 more trips planned within the next year and will be purchasing coverage again and again with Insure My Trip.

Fortunately, we did not not end up using this coverage. Since we did have to cancel our last 3 trips due to sudden health issues, it was comforting to have this policy available to us!

Only issue was I could not print a hard copy. No matter what printer or where I was trying to print, the file always paper jammed on page 2 and 3. Multiple printers, multiple locations. The pdf file sent must have been corrupted in some way. I could only view the policy on my phone or computer, could not view it while at sea with no internet when something could have happened.

Love having a plan that gives us piece of mind. We love Royal Caribbean, but there protection plan is geared towards the company more than the cruiser. Using a third party, like Insure My Trip, makes us feel even better protected. Covers everything we could imagine.

We always purchase travel insurance when cruising. Decided to try insure my trip to find our insurance this time and wasn't disappointed. Value was well worth it. The insurance plan was definitely less expensive for the same coverage as we have previously purchased through other venues. My only pet peeve is that it was based on reimbursement process but that is something that is par for the course with any travel insurance. We were lucky not to have to file a claim. For my family and I outs about peace of mind and this policy definitely provided that and at a reasonable price.

You can always add flights or any other travel expenses to your policy up to the day before your scheduled departure date. However, if you purchased a policy to include the preexisting condition waiver, which is a time sensitive coverage, then you must follow the terms as listed in your CF Travel Insured policy.
"Waiver of the Pre-Existing Condition Exclusion...
The exclusion for Pre-Existing Condition will be waived provided:
a) Your Payment for this Policy and enrollment form are received within 21 days of the date Your initial Payment or Deposit for Your Trip is received; and
b) You insure all Prepaid Trip costs that are subject to cancellation penalties or restrictions and also insure within 21 days of the Payment or Deposit for those Travel Arrangements the cost of any subsequent Travel Arrangements (or any other Travel Arrangements not made through Your travel agent) added to Your Trip; and
c) You are not disabled from travel at the time Your premium is paid.
So, if you did not call to add your flights to your policy within the 21 days of purchasing those flights, then the preexisting condition waiver would no longer apply.
