It's insurance. Fortunately, I did not need it. But I have a travel companion who did on a different trip and between her insurance and mine, we suffered no out-of-pocket expenses. It is hard to rate an insurance plan if you didn’t file a claim. We fortunately did not need to file a claim. A review from someone who did file a claim will carry more weight for a review. I did like knowing that if some unforeseen circumstance occurred we would not have been out thousands of dollars.
