Although we did not have to use the insurance plan, it was a relief knowing that we had it if necessary. In this world, you never know what will happen. The coverage allowed a peace of mind that made planning and taking the trip very worth the reasonable cost. Will use it again next cruise.

Fortunately I did not have to file a claim against my TravelSafe insurance policy during my cruise vacation. However, it was relieving to have the peace of mind that we would have been (somewhat) covered in the event of an unforeseen circumstance. It's a good idea to get insurance when you spend a significant amount of money on a vacation like a cruise.

I bought this for a Disney Cruise and while on the cruise I got the Norovirus. It was pretty awful. If I had needed to be removed, this would have been what I needed. Fortunately, I recovered and stayed with my family. Disney did not charge for my treatment on board as many others contracted it too. Glad I had this.
