Travelex Travel Select
I was able to add coverage later for the air portion of my trip. It was easy, just a phone call to update the coverage once the plans were complete. Fortunately I did not need to use the medical evacuation portion from Tibet.

    Thank you for your feedback on the policy. The majority of the comprehensive polices we offer allow travelers to increase the insured trip cost. In the event you add additional trip expenses after you purchase a policy, you must call us within 10-30 days (policy specific) of adding the additional expenses so we can re-quote your policy and add the additional trip cost onto your existing policy.

At my age (69) getting any kind of travel insurance is getting difficult and expensive. I have to pick and choose what I think must be covered by insurance and what can be ignored.
