    Thank you for the suggestion but it would be unlikely that insurance providers would provide a lower rate for returning customers. Although this premium credit works well for personal auto and homeowners, these are annual plans that the insured may renew at the end of the policy term. Since these auto and homeowners discounts are generally based on loyalty and loss history, the insured has time to build "credit" with the insurance provider which is unlikely to happen with travel insurance that is written on a single trip basis.

C&F Travel Insured International Worldwide Trip Protector Lite
In comparing similar travel insurance plans, I found C&F plan coverage and cost to be my deciding factor for purchase. The plan covered all my major areas of concern and in case of a medical emergency the coverage was sufficient.

It gives me peace of mind to add just a little to the overall cost of trip, knowing that if I miss a connection, or my luggage does, I can still go on with my vacation. Also, knowing that a medical or dental emergency can be dealt with.

Generali Global Assistance Premium
Filed a claim after a flight was canceled and we had to purchase a last minute more expensive ticket on another airline. Generali paid the difference between the two tickets. They approved the claim in one day and we received a check two weeks later. My advice is to send ALL documents relating to the claim even if it seems redundant.
