Tried to claim due to Hurricane Harvey but the coverage was worse than useless. I was told by customer service there 2 very strict reasons for claiming during a hurricane for which we did not qualify. Never mind that we couldn't get to the airport. Won't be purchasing from them again.

We got InsureMyTrip.com involved to assist us in getting the Insurance Company to address our claim after It seemed to stall. I bought this plan for my daughter who was traveling overseas with my ex-wife and her husband. I wanted to cover myself from catastrophic expenses in the unlikely event of an accident or medical emergency. It gave me piece-of-mind. I first heard about this site from Clark Howard on his radio program. The trip went on without a hitch, so I had no claim.

Luckily, we didn't need to use the plan, because nothing went wrong. But it was great to have the piece of mind knowing that if something had occurred, it would be covered.
