It took three months from the time we filed our claim to receiving our checks. At one point, more information was requested, and we also had to sign a form indicating that we would not use the value of the tickets that was included as part of our trip cost. All this took quite a bit of time to assemble and supply the information requested. The result was that we received the full amount of our claim: 0ver $8,000 plus interest.

Since we had no issues on our trip and did not have to file a claim, we cannot attest to how a claim would be handled by the company. However, we can say that the peace-of-mind that the travel insurance policy gave us helped us enjoy the trip to the fullest.

Everything went smoothly..However, we did file a claim for trip cancellation due to illness for previous trip booked for May 17th to Portugal and Spain and our claim was handled efficiently and effectively..Therefore, I will use C and F travel insured for all future trips.

Thankfully, once again we did not need to file a claim. I have found however that each time I purchase insurance from "insuremytrip" I am able to get exactly the coverage I need at a reasonable cost. If I have any pre-trip questions they are always answered promptly. I will continue to use "insuremytrip" for future travel and will be very pleased to pay the premium and never collect.
