I am happy that I took the insurance plan, but also happy that I did not need it. I can't really comment on how good it was as I did not need to use it. The cost was affordable and I am sure that I would use this company again.

Nationwide Mutual offered reasonable rates for the various types of coverages. It appears nearly all travel insurance companies have steadily been increasing their rates over the past 5-6 years. It pays to shop all the companies!!

I did not have to use the plan, but it was reassuring because I have a pre-existing condition. My plans could have changed at any time and I needed the coverage to protect my investment.

    Thank you for your feedback on the policy. The Travel Insured Worldwide Trip Protector offers a Waiver of Pre-Existing Conditions Exclusion if:

    a) Your Payment for this Policy and enrollment form are received within 21 days of the date Your initial Payment or Deposit for Your Trip is received; and

    b) You insure all Prepaid Trip costs that are subject to cancellation penalties or restrictions and also insure within 21 days of the Payment or Deposit for those Travel Arrangements the cost of any subsequent Travel Arrangements (or any other Travel Arrangements not made through Your travel agent) added to Your Trip; and

    c) You are not disabled from travel at the time Your premium is paid.
