Like many other reviewers, did not have to use plan during the 5-week trip to Australia. While cannot comment on the claims process, I can say that I found this company to be very professional and helpful during my contacts with them and in their communications to me. I do recommend this company strongly to anyone considering such insurance.

The plan is very good for a big emergency, but for casual problems it is very difficult because we need to call for a USA phone, and in my case that I was in Australia and that i did not have celphone to call to USA.

Despite the fact that I have not had to file a claim I will give the plan a 4 star, because the questions on this survey do not reflect the totality of any experience with the plan since I was not served by the company more than the buying process online. And I hope I will never have to file a claim, ever! I buy the insurance for safety and I hope I will never have to use any of the benefits.

We had the unfortunate need to actually use our IMG service while traveling in Australia. My husband had to be admitted to the hospital for a severe reaction to a jellyfish sting. The customer service representatives were available to answer our questions both times we called (even though it was a weekend and we were in Australian time zone) and were very helpful and friendly. We were so happy to have purchased such a high-quality plan! I should note that while we did use the benefits of the plan, the hospital took care of the claim filing. We have not heard any problems with the claim filing so it seems to have all gone smoothly. You will not regret purchasing this plan, although I hope you won't have to use it!
