Although is was a while ago, I remember how patient and courteous the agent was in helping me choose the coverage I needed and nothing more. The customer care representatives were friendly and helpful. They told me exactly what I needed to do to file a claim for our delayed baggage. We were reimbursed accordingly in a timely fashion and were pleased with the way we were treated.

Happily, did not have to make a claim, so I do not truly know how "good" the plan is. The price for the coverage was less than others I have seen. The representative was knowledgeable and friendly, and the online application process was easy.

My review is of limited value because I am not sure how the IATCP plan would have performed if I had a claim. Fortunately, our trip was without incident, and we had a great time. I always wonder whether the insurance I purchase will actually cover my wife and I if either of us had a serious medical problem. Hopefully, we will never have to find out. If we had a problem and IATCP honored our claims, I would upgrade the rating to 5 stars.

It is hard to rate a plan when you thankfully do not have the experience of filing a claim, however it did give me peace of mind.

This is insurance.... for peace of mind. Therefore, the best insurance is insurance not used. I will continue covering my trips in hopes of not needing it. I will not know how good it is until I have to file....hopefully never.
