We recently had to cancel an entire trip to Paris do to a family medical emergency. I've purchased travel insurance for over 10 years without an incident, so I've never had anything to say until now. We use Nationwide travel insurance that we purchase through Insure My Trip. Because the emergency happened a day before our trip, and we couldn't give Air France a new travel date before our departure date, we lost all our. We also lost a portion of a city tour package and a prepaid museum event. I called Nationwide and was instructed how to file a claim. I had all my documents in order and filed everything as instructed. Nationwide asked a few easily answered questions and sent along a check for the full amount of the claim. The entire process took about 4 weeks. Everything worked exactly like it should. I highly recommend Nationwide and thank you to Insure My trip for making it so easy to do research and purchase an appropriate plan.
